Mold Damage – Fitchburg Home
The mold damage at this Fitchburg home was the result of a leaky pipe. The growing mold infestation was hidden behind a large piece of furniture, so it went unnoticed until the homeowner detected a musty odor and investigated. Before beginning the mold damage remediation, we set up a containment area to keep mold spores from traveling throughout the house while we worked. We needed to remove about a ten-foot section of drywall and the baseboard which had also been infested. We cleaned and treated all the studs and used an antimicrobial compound on the entire affected area to help prevent any future mold growth. When the cleanup was complete, we put up new drywall and painted the area to make it look just like new.
