Water Damage - Fitchburg Condominium
Water damage to this empty Fitchburg condominium was allowed to stand for an extended period of time. It was eventually discovered by a real estate agent who was showing the property. When standing water is left standing on engineered wood flooring, it will penetrate to the subflooring below which in this case was porous concrete. Unfortunately, the engineered wood flooring in this instance would need to be removed and disposed of to allow proper drying of the subflooring. New flooring could then be put down on a dry subfloor. SERVPRO of Fitchburg - Leominster has the capability to handle a water damage problem of this nature from beginning to end.
